Phone Signal Chart

One short tone Your call is going to a coverage point.
One short ring or one soft beep Call from another extension.
Two short rings Call from outside system.
Three short rings or three short beeps Priority call, Automatic call back, or Consult.
"Special Audible Ring", ring with lower pitch to the end Signals caller that call waiting tones have been sent to called extension and extension is busy.


NOTE: A coverage path is the path that your phone call follows. For example: After X number of rings if I do not answer my phone it will cover to voicemail. Voicemail is my first coverage point. Some users may have multiple coverage points, ring to co-worker, then to front desk etc.
