Cisco Unity Connection Voicemail

NOTE: At this time, only those departments using Cisco Deskphones and/or Cisco Jabber can use Cisco Unity Connection Voicemail
The first time you access your voicemail:
- Press the
button on your Cisco desk phone or Dial 35000 from your Cisco Jabber softphone
- Enter 12345 as the PIN
- The Unity Connection Voicemail System will prompt you to:
- Record your name
- Record a greeting
- Set a new password (a minimum of 5-digits)
- Once you have completed all the prompts, your voicemail box is ready to receive messages.
To check your voicemail messages in the future:
- Press the
button on your Cisco desk phone or Dial 35000 from your Cisco Jabber softphone
- Enter your PIN
NOTE: If you’ve forgotten your PIN, try 12345. If that doesn’t work, please contact the ITS Service Desk at 578-3375 or email servicedesk@lsu.edu for assistance
- Follow the prompts to check your messages
To change your voicemail greeting in the future, perform the following after logging in
- Press 4 for setup options
- Press 1 for Greetings
- It plays your current greeting
- Press 1 to re-record. Press # when finished recording
- Hang up or follow the prompts
To Access another Cisco Unity Connection Voicemail mailbox
- Dial 35000
- Press * (star)
- Enter the mailbox number you wish to log into then press #
- Enter the PIN (User 12345 if this is the first time accessing the voicemail box)
- The first time you login, it will ask you to choose a new PIN, record a name, and record a greeting (this will be what all callers hear when opting to leave a voicemail instead of waiting to speak to an agent)
- You are now logged in
