LSUMail: Messages Per Folder Limits
Microsoft Advises the Following Limits on the Number of E-mails in Each Folder:

Why Are There Limits?
The more messages you have in the default system folders, the slower your response time and the greater the load on the mail server when trying to index your emails.
What Happens If I Reach These Limits?
You may be contacted by the Microsoft Online Services Team to reduce the number of items in the folder.
